Changes to be implemented in future patches...

-Collidable Saddle Platform & Build-on-Saddles: make your big Brontos and Plesios into mobile bases, build just about anything up from them! Build ladders to climb up onto them, whatever -- the possibilities are nearly endless!!! ;) We originally were gonna limit it to sleeping bags and turrets, but let's just go all-out and make it work with everything.

-Swamp Biome & New Cave

-Snow Biome & New Cave

-Water Raft

-Gigantopithecus: Your autonomous Fiber-gathering, human-tossing buddy

-Driveable Dune Buggy Modding

-Human and Dino Warpaint

-Controllable Ballistas/Turrets to place on structures and on the backs of your dinos

-Primitive Organic Automated Turrets

-Powered Elevator Structures

-Random GPU Driver crash fix: TrueSky

-Specific Representative "on-ground" meshes for all dropped items

-Better system for hosting dedicated server mods: now you only need to specify Mod ID's, not maps or paths, and there is automatic built-in downloading & updating of their content, no more manual file copying.

The game plan over the next few months involves some pretty aggressive production. Server transfers off West will be available soon. Faster patches leading up to PAX. Hero Engine upgrade, siege implementation, and then hardcore servers. We plan on using PAX + beta to start pushing towards a more production level of players, and then we'll have some type of either an open beta event or a a stress test event where we can try to get a gauge of how many players to expect at launch. During those stages we'll monitor how many players we have per server and then decide what number of servers we need for launch.

I find the FPS mode better for combat in most situations also as the firearms have an arc, anything gets to the flank or rear and you can't fire on them, it's a lot easier to put the reticle on them in FPS mode, and I imagine the melee players will rear doing everything they can to get rear attacks on you.

You can actually turn on focus targetting instead if you want a more fluid system. I'm a mêlée fighter and focus tar getting works really well as melee has alot of aoe attacks. So many ways to customize game play you would be silly to not try it on release. It is F2P after all.

Olek it's just the tight ass in me, it's just that I've seen it cheaper and now I don't want to buy it out of principle, wish there was someone at steam  I could bargain down
