For those who missed last week's news (Star's post in the TOR Members Barracks) Bioware are now taking registrations for the TOR Beta and a chance to play the game during one of a number of upcoming Beta testing phases.

"We will be selecting testers from the Star Wars: The Old Republic community based on various requirements such as systems specifications, age, and region."

Step 1 - register on the Official Forums http://www.swtor.com/user/register and be sure to check the box to indicate you are interested in becoming a tester.

Step 2 - If you're already a member go direct to the tester application page to complete your application and unsergo a system scan http://www.swtor.com/tester

But I am waiting in the background till an MMO comes around that's worth focusing and building on (ie not Fallen Earth or JumpGate which look like short term interests to me).
